Calling all kids of the imaginary age! Fairytale Town is a park for children located in Land Park that feeds the child's spirit with make-believe stories that come to life! Fairytale themed playsets and stages along with gardens and farm animals...learning has never been more fun! Check out their website for me details. 

Right next door to Fairytale Town is an old fashioned amusement park with nine thrilling rids for young kids. Funderland has been located in Land Park since 1946 and it's sure to quickly become a family favorite.

Tower Theater & Cafe
Land Park Tower Theater

A landmark entrance to Land Park, the theatre and tower has stood in this location for over 75 years. Tower Theatre plays independent films, documentaries, and movies you would not see at the mainstream cinema. Read about the 75th Anniversary of Tower Theatre here.

Land Park Zoo

The Sacramento Zoo has been located in Land Park since 1927! Completely modern and up to date, the zoo hosts more than 500 native, rare, and endangered animals. Some notable creatures to check out include the orangutan, African lions, endangered snow leopard, and giraffes!

Justice Anthony Kennedy

Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy grew up in Land Park from the age of 5. As a close friend of Kennedy's said, Land Park was a place “where everybody knew everybody else, and life was just very stable.” Land Park has not changed since!

Sac City Community College Land Park

Sacramento City College is a two-year community college located directly across from William Land Park. SCC is part of the Los Rios Community College District.

 

Enjoy the location by walking to campus and stopping in at one of the local eateries such as The Sandwich Spot, a Land Park local favorite!

Midtown is Sacramento's hip and artistic neighborhood complete with Farm to Fork restaurants, breweries, wine bars, cafes, art galleries, farmer's market, performance centers, live concerts in the park, and much more! 

A quick 5 minutes drive north from Land Park crosses you into the Midtown neighborhood for a taste of city life!
